Airship ladder from the Goodyear Airdock, Akron

This airship ladder comes from the Goodyear Airdock in Akron Ohio where the U.S.S. Akron and her sister ship, the U.S.S Macon were constructed. In total, there were four United States Navy ridged airships, however the circular stampings on the ladder are unique to the Akron and Macon only.
