Paolo Buffa’s many celebrated designs are equally indebted to neoclassicism, an ultramodern irreverence, and a devotion to the fine woodworking traditions of his native Lombardy. His works’ direct and solid presence is also informed by his training as an architect. This wingback-inspired chair, a classic combination of Buffa’s eccentric traditionalism, is made even livelier with custom upholstery of faux sheepskin.
