Goldenrod model car
This model car captures the narrow, low profiled and streamline form of the hot rod that would hold the record for fastest, non-supercharged wheel-driven car for forty-five years. Bob and Bill Summer's Goldenrod set the record for the fastest wheel-driven car averaging 409 miles per hour at Bonneville on November 12, 1965. The Goldenrod would hold the record until 1991.
